When I was very young, that announcement meant "The Outer Limits" was on TV but it was also time to go to bed. If my parents were distracted, I got to watch at least part. The opening announcement was always accompanied by fantastic space images. One picture, in particular, always caught my nine year old attention and came to symbolize the awe and mystery of space. I now know it was M104. |
